Director of the Mental Health Unit at Shafaq Organization, with over 15 years of experience in humanitarian responses related to wars and natural disasters.
He contributed to the establishment and development of Shafaq’s Mental Health Unit, leading the design of its strategy, building its organizational structures, and promoting the vision of integrating and mainstreaming mental health across various sectors, including resource-limited settings.

He believes in the importance of low-cost community-based interventions in our region, leveraging technology (such as remote therapy platforms) to expand access.

His work focuses on post-trauma growth approaches and positive psychology to enhance individual and community resilience. He has several published research studies and actively engages in mental health awareness efforts through various media platforms.
