Information about Speaker

Ms. Lotta Kinnunen has over 15 years of experience in international development cooperation and humanitarian work across East and Southern Africa and the Middle East.

Specializing in emergency response, education, and innovation, Ms. Kinnunen has led diverse projects ranging from agriculture to education with a strong focus on social inclusion.

She joined the Embassy of Finland in Beirut as the Head of Cooperation in October 2024 and manages Finland’s various partnerships across Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.

A Finnish national, Ms. Kinnunen holds a BSc degree in Social Anthropology from Brunel University of London, UK, and MSc in Development and International Cooperation from University of Jyväskylä in Finland.
