Biography
Dr. Eman Ibrahim Azz is a professor at the Faculty of Education, Damascus University, where she currently serves as Dean. Her academic and professional work focuses on psychometric and educational assessment, psychotherapy, and specialized expertise in diagnosing and supporting individuals with special needs.

She has contributed significantly to the psychological rehabilitation of persons with visual and motor disabilities, supporting their integration into the labor market in cooperation with industrial and commercial institutions.

Dr. Azz has delivered over 150 hours of training for staff at the two main cerebral palsy centers in Damascus, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and building relationships with children with motor disabilities. She has also conducted training programs at SOS Children’s Village in Deir Atiyah for children with diverse disabilities, including learning difficulties.

In addition, she has supervised numerous master’s and doctoral theses in the field of test standardization and psychometric tools, including the Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS) and the Sensory Integration Disorder Scale.
