Amer Al-Qahwaji has over 16 years of experience in the humanitarian and development sectors. Since 2016, he has held a position at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in the areas of private sector development, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and livelihoods support, in addition to serving as a youth focal point.
He holds a Master’s degree in Management and Business Administration from Damascus University, a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, and a Diploma in Computer Science.
