He is the founder and Executive Director of Hand in Hand for Aid and Development, established in 2011, through which he has led the organization to become one of the most prominent actors in the humanitarian response inside and outside Syria, with a team of more than 1,200 staff members. He has managed and implemented large-scale relief and development projects in partnership with the United Nations and international agencies, carrying the Syrian cause to global platforms. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and Economics and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom, and has previous executive experience in the business management sector in the UK."
