About the Lotus Women's Association: The Lotus Women's Association is a civil society organization founded in 2020, aiming to support and empower women and the most vulnerable groups in society, with a particular focus on women with disabilities. Operating in northwestern Syria, the association seeks to bring about positive and sustainable change by implementing development and service projects that respond to the needs of the local community. The association's activities include various areas such as psychosocial support, community awareness, capacity building for women and girls, implementing community volunteer initiatives, and participating in advocacy campaigns for women's issues. The association also pays special attention to promoting a culture of governance and social justice within community teams and initiatives. Thanks to its efforts and cooperation with local and international partners, the association has been able to implement several successful projects, including providing winter services to the most vulnerable families, psychological support sessions for children and women, and capacity-building programs for women's teams in management and organization.
